"Rebar" is like planting steel bars in concrete, and "rebar glue" is the structural glue that helps these steel bars firmly bond to the holes in the concrete.
Main Components of Rebar Glue
Commonly used are two-component epoxy systems (component A + component B), mainly containing:
- Epoxy resin: provieds structural strength
- Curing agent: controls reaction speed and final performance
- Ingorganic filler: enhances thixotropy and heat resistance
- Accelerator, anti-settling agent: improves construction performance
Application Areas of Rebar Glue
- Bridge and tunnel reinforcement
- Building floor renovation
- Subway and power plant equipment foundation reinforcement
- Connection between new and old concrete structures
- Rebar anchoring in rock or brick walls
Rebar Glue Production Line Main Equipment: Double Planetary Mixer
1. Strong stirring ability, suitable for high-viscosity materials
Two planetary stirring paddles of double planetary mixer rotate while revolving, which can thoroughly turn the materials like "kneading dough".
For materials with a viscosity of more than 100,000cps such as rebar glue, traditional mixing equipment is easily unable to stir, while the double planetary paddle design can strongly shear and fold the materials to achieve thorough mixing.
2. Suitable for high-filler systems
Rebar glue often contains a large amount of inorganic fillers (such as quartz powder, talcum powder, silica powder, etc.), which are prone to agglomeration, stratification, and uneven dispersion.
Double planetary mixer is equipped with a dispersion disc (optional), which can break up filler agglomerates under strong shear force to ensure that the filler is evenly dispersed in the resin.
3. Support vacuum mixing + vacuum degassing
If there are microbubbles remaining in rebar glue, it will affect the anchor strength.
Double planetary mixer supports full vacuum operation, degassing while stirring, and the degassing efficiency is much higher than that of ordinary equipment, making the produced rebar glue dense and pore-free.
