What is phenolic resin?
Phenolic resin, also known as phenolic resin, is a synthetic polymer obtained by the polycondensation reaction of phenol and formaldehyde under the action of phenol and formaldehyde under the action of an acidic or alkaline catalyst.
Characterisics of Phenolic Resin
1. Heat Resistance
Phenolic resin has good heat resistance, can remain stable at high temperatures, and is not easy to decompose or soften.
2. Mechanical Strength
This resin has high mechanical strength, high hardness, and good wear resistance and impact resistance.
3. Electrical Insulation
Phenolic resin has excellent electrical insulation properties and is an ideal insulating material.
4. Chemical Resistance
It has good resistance to a variety of chemical reagents such as acids, alkalis and organic solvents.
5. Formability
Phenolic resin can be processed into products of different shapes and sizes throught various methods such as compression molding, casting and lamination.
Why reactor is suitable for phenolic resin production?
Due to its excellent temperature and pressure control capabilities, power stirring function, corrosion-resistant materials and long-term stable operation, reactor is very suitable for the production of phenolic, resin, ensuring the efficiency, safety and stability of the production process and product quality.
